CCTV image released as part of Basingstoke arson investigation

Do you recognise this man?

We would like to identify him as part of our enquiries into a car fire that took place on the morning of Wednesday 29 April.

We received a report that a red Toyota Auris had been set alight at around 6.50am that day. The car was parked in The Bridge Centre car park in New Road.

Firefighters attended to put out the fire. The car sustained significant damage.

A man was seen in the area at the time.

He was described as:

This incident is being treated as arson.

Officers have been making enquiries, and we have now released an image of a man we would like to speak to about this incident.
