Good afternoon Resident!

This morning I’ve had a meeting at Yateley Town Council with local councillors and partners, and agreed our community priorities for the next three months.

I’ve shown them the statistics for Yateley, Blackwater and Hawley and we’ve discussed in detail what we as a team should be focusing on in our area.

We also spoke about our Let’s Talk survey which helps us to determine what you feel is important where you live. If you haven’t completed the survey yet you can do so here – https://survey.hampshirealert.co.uk.

We’ve agreed this morning to focus on two community priorities for Yateley, Blackwater and Hawley. These are antisocial behaviour in Yateley particularly around the Village Centre and Yateley Green, and Theft from Motor Vehicles in Blackwater and Hawley.

We’ve agreed to targeted patrols on foot, cycle and in vehicles to proactively deal with these two issues, to engage with people in the area and tell them what we’re doing, and to robustly tackle any offences we see whilst we’re out and about.

We’ll review these in three months alongside our local partners to see if they’re right to continue or if we should then focus on something else.
