You are receiving this alert as a resident of Farnborough to keep you updated of a couple of positive results we have had over the last week.  We continue to work to resolve issues affecting the community, and hope these results help to show although action may not always appear to be immediate, we work to use the information we are provided with, and these are some of the results.  

Proactive arrests are the result of Officers using intelligence and information provided to us and developing it; in two of the below examples this resulted in arrests.  The experts on an area are yourselves; this is a great example of how reporting concerns can help lead to action.

On Monday 9th September, a 26 year old man from London was arrested following a proactive stop and search of their vehicle.  The search located 21 bags of cannabis and more than £100 in cash.  These items were seized, he has been bailed pending further enquiries.

On Saturday 7th September, a 20 year old man from Farnborough, and a 20 year old man from Sandhurst were arrested following a proactive stop and search of their vehicle.  The search resulted in Class B drugs, paraphernalia, and more than £100 in cash being seized.  Both men have been bailed with conditions pending further enquiries.

On Thursday 5th September, a 27 year old man was arrested, along with a 34 year old man from Aldershot.  Both men were arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
