Upcoming Beat Surgeries Bishops Waltham and Swanmore

Alert message sent 16/09/2021 11:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Good Morning,

I hope you are all well ?

I would like to give you notice of my upcoming Beat Surgery’s in Bishops Waltham and Swanmore.

Dates and Times are as below:

Bishops Waltham
Tuesday 12th October 12:00 – 13:30
Bishops Waltham Police Station Reception

Swanmore
Wednesday 13th October 11:00 – 12:30
Car Park opposite the Paterson Centre

This is an opportunity for local residents to come, have a chat, and to raise any concerns they may have. I will also be inviting the local NHW co-ordinaters and the Parish Council Community Safety Officers.

Can I also make you aware that during the week of 9th – 16th October it is National Hate Crime Week, so I will also have literature to hand in relation to this.

It is easy to think hate crime is about those of a different colour, creed, religion or race, but it is important to remember that it’s crimes against people with any of the protected characteristics.

Remember:

Hate crimes and incidents come in many different forms. It can be because of hatred on the grounds of race, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or disability.

A victim does not have to be a member of the group at which the hostility is targeted. In fact, anyone could be a victim of a hate crime.

Incidents may involve physical attacks, verbal abuse, obscene calls or texts, offensive mail, domestic abuse, harassment, damage to property, arson, bullying or graffiti. Even dumping of rubbish or offensive or dangerous substances posted through letterboxes.

Stay Safe

Kind Regards

PCSO 13455 Sarah McCulloch
