Appeal for witnesses made following report of a robbery in Denmead

Were you in Denmead between 8pm and 8.20pm on Tuesday 1 September?

If so, you may be able to help with our enquiries following a report of a robbery.

A 15-year-old boy was walking with his friends past Denmead pavilion, when the group was approached by another group of young males.

In Lowland Road, one person from this second group grabbed the victim’s bag and stole a black Bluetooth speaker.

The second group continued to follow the first group on to Southwick Road before they left.

No injuries were reported.

We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that could help our enquiries.
