Crime prevention - recent incidents in Four Marks

Alert message sent 15/07/2020 17:39:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

We have received reports of damage having occurred overnight (14 July) to vehicles parked in Laping Way in Four Marks.

We are reviewing these incidents and a suspect has been arrested this morning (15 July) as part of our on-going investigation. We are aware of social media posts being circulated online, and within the local community, about who may be responsible and whether or not these incidents are linked to others in the local area. We would urge local residents not to speculate about who may be involved.

Instead, we ask the community to help us in our investigation by sharing any information or evidence they have with us or anonymously via CrimeStoppers.

You will continue to see our officers in and around the local community, as part of their routine patrols. The safety and welfare of local communities remains our top priority. As always, we would urge residents to continue to call 999 in an emergency where a crime is in progress or there is a threat to life. Alternatively, residents can call 101 to report any incidents of concern.
