Alert message sent 05/05/2020 15:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

We’ve been investigating an incident in which a woman was bitten by a dog at around 7pm on Thursday 30 April, on a bridle path between Alton and Chawton Park woods.

It was reported that a woman was cycling on the bridle path when she was bitten on the leg by the dog.

This animal was one of three dogs – described as collie cross dogs - being walked by a woman described as aged in her 30s with dark curly brown hair.

We are keen to identify this woman so we can speak to her about the incident.

If you know who this person is, or this is you, please contact PC Nick Whitehouse of the Alton Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101, and quote 44200153510.
