Hello

Theft from motor vehicles and Burglaries remain a priority however due to Pro-active policing I am pleased to inform you that these offences have significantly reduced over the past couple of weeks.

There has been some robberies over the past few weeks in Basingstoke including in the Popley and Oakridge area’s I want to encourage you all if you are out late at night to try and stay in well-lit busy area’s and to try and avoid secluded spots if possible.

Criminal damage. There has been reports of criminal damage is some areas recently. If you are subject to any sort of criminal damage, please make sure to report it.

There has been some reports of people coming to address and asking for money for different reasons. Please do not give them any money and ask them to leave. If you get knocks on the door late at night and you’re not expecting people, don’t answer the door. If there is any suspicious people loitering around, report it to the police on 101.
