Thefts from vehicles over the festive period

Alert message sent 27/12/2019 16:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

We hope that you have had a great Christmas and that you are enjoying the festive period.
Unfortunately criminals don’t stop for Christmas and it is still important to remain vigilant and not let your personal and home security lapse.
We have received reports of vehicles that have been broken into in recent days – one in Little Somborne and one in West Wellow. Please ensure that you are not leaving valuables in your vehicles. Opportunistic thieves will be looking for gifts left inside of vehicles and may also be visiting beauty spot car parks looking for vehicles with valuables left inside them. For further advice on protecting yourself from this type of crime, see -
We hope that you have a good New Year.
