WEST END COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT UPDATE 1900 HOURS WEDS 9TH JAN 2019

Alert message sent 07/01/2019 09:36:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Dear Citizen ,

Happy New Year West End residents.

We are now reaching well over 1000 West End residents by email through Alerts - Can you help us to reach more residents? Anywhere in Hampshire – residents hear from their local team. Please spread the word, to help us to reach more people direct through email – www.hampshirealert.co.uk  Share on social media - link at the bottom.

Our community engagement plan for 2019 is set to change, for a number of different reasons. Asda have reviewed their allocation of time given within their store and we are no longer allowed to have our table for the monthly ‘Police Drop In’. And the monthly ‘CopsNChat’ was very rarely, if ever, attended by residents, so this is not an effective use of our time.

1915 hours on Wednesday 9th January is the Parish Meeting, at the Parish Centre, Chapel Road. We will attend from 1900 hours, so any residents can speak with police.

We are very happy to listen to your concerns, offer advice and crime prevention options. However, please be aware that we cannot take on the spot reports of incidents, these do need reporting to 101, or online – HERE.

Kind Regards, PCSO Mica Coppin.
